Assassin’s Creed III Will Have Enough Episodic DLC to Warrant a ‘Season Pass’

I’m sure everybody expects Assassin’s Creed III to feature some kind of post-release DLC. I mean, that’s just par for the course these days, isn’t it? Turns out the game may have a lot more to its post-release content than previous entries in the series – enough to warrant a “season pass.” The news came from a retailer brief sent to stores like GameStop.

For those of you who don’t know how the “season pass” model works, the idea is simple: if a game plans to release a whole lot of episodic DLC, players can pay for all of it up front when they buy the game to get it for a lower price than each piece would cost separately.
