OUYA Partners With XBMC and TuneIn to Provide Quality Media

Even with just two days left before Kickstarter funding ends, OUYA’s still chugging out new features, images, and partnerships. The image at left is designed to show off the system’s tiny size – about the size of a Rubik’s Cube, as we previously reported.

In terms of new partnerships, today OUYA announced that they’ll be teaming up with XBMC and TuneIn for media streaming services. XBMC is an open source media player, fitting in perfectly with OUYA’s hackability; meanwhile, TuneIn provides local and international radio stations via the Internet. So that tiny little box won’t just play Android games – it’ll stream music and other media as well.
