GameStop Opens The Wind Waker Wii U Pre-Orders

If you’re hoping to nab a copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker‘s Wii U HD remake when it launches this fall, GameStop is (as usual) one of the first retailers to open up pre-orders. As you might expect, there’s no real placeholder box artwork, specific release date, or anything like that – just your typical bland initial pre-order site.

You can reserve Wind Waker Wii U by clicking here.

Virtual Console is for emulation; this is a remake.

Who the hell would pre-order this worthless piece of junk? I am already certain that the only thing they will be doing is increasing the graphics on this and nothing else, and at the same time, there was nothing wrong with the original graphical style! Unless Nintendo really puts some time into this and adds content, or at least changes the game in some manner for the better, the sales on this will be utterly low.

Well, I’ll be buying it. Might go eShop instead of pre-order though.

I’d really like to be able to play most of my games on the same system.

I would and will preorder this. I call myself a Zelda Fan, but I have yet to play any of the Toon Link games b/c I don’t have a DS and I was one of those fans who didn’t like the art style. I’ve always wanted to play WW. Now I’ll be able to on Wii U.

Well since its releasing in the fall, and Nintendo usually leaves their big console releases for the Sunday before Thanksgiving (Wii/U/SS), I’m predicting the game will come out Nov. 17th unless Nintendo has some other big game to release that day. I’ll wait for a comfirmed release date to pre-order.

My money’s on a Sept-Oct release. Mario will be November, Mario Kart in December.

      All speculation, of course…

Gonna go pre-order it the same day as the release date for TLoZ: Hyrule Historia.
