Despite stating that there really wasn’t enough of a business initiative to localize Pandora’s Tower, the final game in the famous “Operation Rainfall” trilogy of RPGs, XEED Games announced today that they will in fact be bringing the almost-forgotten Wii game to North America. I guess that puts the idea that Epic Mickey 2 was, like, one of the last “big” Wii retail games to bed, then, doesn’t it?
The game is due sometime this “spring,” according to the publisher. XSEED president Shinichi Suzuki added, “It’s fantastic to be bringing such a highly-anticipated title like Pandora’s Tower to such a vocal fan base. North American gamers have been very patient in waiting for this game to be released, and we’re confident they will be pleased when they get their hands on the title.”
I must say, I’ve definitely haven’t been looking for a new Wii game to add to my Wii U library – but for Wii-only owners, this release might be a bit more enticing. Better late than never, right?
