Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is one of those great Kickstarter success stories. It began as “Project Giana” on the popular crowd-funding site, before meeting its funding goals and eventually becoming the creative and actually-released game it is today. The game takes solid 2D platforming and combines it with a two-world mechanic, but with a twist: the worlds correlate to the main character’s two personalities – “cute” and “punk.”
It’s gotten some pretty stellar acclaim, enough to see an Xbox 360 and retail PC release set for this spring – and now PS3’s PSN will join those other two upcoming releases as a third new platform. Not bad for a Kickstarter project, eh?
