Nintendo PR Lists Super Smash Bros. as ‘Coming Soon’ on Nintendo 3DS

We know Nintendo’s been working on a new entry in the Super Smash Bros. franchise for Nintendo 3DS, but we haven’t seen or heard anything specific about the game since its announcement other than that Namco-Bandai will be teaming up with Masahiro Sakurai to help with development on the new cross-platform 3DS/Wii U entry. However, with our first real glimpse at the game just around the corner at the incoming E3 2013 show, Nintendo has listed Super Smash Bros. as “coming soon” for Nintendo 3DS.

Normally I wouldn’t really read into things like this, but that they’re specifically listing games that are actually coming within the year and counting Smash Bros. among them is pretty encouraging.

That Smash Bros. is before Pokémon X & Y in a list that’s otherwise ordered chronologically? Also encouraging.
