There are Over 70 Games Coming to Wii U in 2013-14, Here’s a Montage

Who says Wii U doesn’t have any games coming? There are over 70 announced games coming to the system by 2014, including a slew of indie games – many of which we’ve given lots of attention, like Shovel Knight, Cloudberry Kingdom, or Two Brothers.

Sure, it’s not the 140 games Sony’s touting for PS4, and there aren’t over a dozen exclusive IP in the works that we know of, but it’s still quite a lot of games.

A YouTuber who goes by palancas7 posted up an almost 16-minute montage of a bunch of the announced Wii U titles, as well as a list of others that weren’t included in the video. Click below to check it out.

And behold, the list. Note that not all of these games are necessarily headed West.

all of the Indie games look amazing.

    • chris

      That caught my eye tooo

  • Shadao

Now all we need are commercials to promote these games.

  • MusubiKazesaru

it’s kind of funny that I noticed the last audio track played was from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 or 3, also you listed Buddy and me twice

  • Forbsz

    So pointless and crap.

    • Nevan Lowe

      Well then go.

  • Daniel

Add Solomon’s Key U and I’ll buy it!

  • Jeffrey Debris

Damn these games look good. Although I do feel that there’s a bit too much pixel art indie games coming these days…

    • Michael Dillon

You know, that isn’t entirely a bad thing. A lot of my childhood consisted of just pixel games. And they were a lot better than a lot of today’s games.

  • Golossus117

This and next year will be gooooood.

  • Alsonic_Ze_Hedgehog

Nintendo’s new catchphrase for the Wii U: ‘Gotta buy them all!’

    • Marvel

Why? I can just catch them all with Pokéballs!

  • Nevan Lowe

A Hat in Time isn’t confirmed yet!

    • http://www.gengame.net/ Alex Plant

I intentionally avoided using the word “confirmed.”

      • Nevan Lowe

Well you said they ARE coming. Not they COULD come. There’s a small, but important difference.

  • obiwan362

So, I remember seeing the Fire Emblem game when they first showed it, but I didn’t know what the other game was. Now I’m actually into the Shin Megami Tensei series, and I don’t think I could be any more excited!

  • Curtis Jason Saunders

67 of these 70 games look like they belong on the iphone

its easy to say that when your sony when you dont have a vita to support.

Nintendo has to support 3ds with exclusives, sony quit vita
