August NPD Sales Data: Madden 25 Tops Software, 3DS Tops Hardware Four Months in a Row

This month’s sales data is in for the US, and Nintendo 3DS has taken the top spot for the fourth month in a row. Nintendo and Sony have not yet disclosed their complete numbers, but Microsoft reports 96,000 Xbox 360 units sold this month. Madden NFL 25 topped the software charts this month with Saints Row IV and Disney Infinity rounding out the top three. You can catch the complete top ten after the jump.

    People who keep saying Nintendo is failing keep forgetting the 3DS is out there kicking bottom.

      Perhaps people tend to judge Nintendo more on what they see as the serious system, IE the console, rather than the handheld, where they spend less time judging. Or when they say Nintendo is failing, they just mean with the WiiU, with default assumption, buy yea, sure they are doing well in handhelds (Though not as well as they used to) But really, when people say Nintendo is failing, I think they mean in a different way than your thinking of. I think Microsoft is failing, and people would agree, regardless of it being profitable.
