Pokémon ‘Gotta Catch ‘Em All’ Catchphrase is Back, Win Prizes Via a Special Code Hunt

gotta-catch-em-all

Today’s surprise Pokémon announcement is two-tiered: in the first place, The Pokémon Company is bringing back the infamous catchphrase “Gotta Catch ‘Em All,” which spearheaded the Pokémon phenomenon back in the ’90s. They’re celebrating the comeback with a new music video by Pogo called “Catchatronic.” However, the real meat of today’s news is a new contest involving an online code hunt.

Each day until the release of Pokémon X & Y, a special code will be hidden somewhere on the Internet. Clues from the official Pokémon Twitter page will help lead to the codes, which players will then enter on the GottaCatchEmAll.com website for chances to win fun prizes, including a 3DS XL system or a copy of Pokémon X & Y. The first code – needed to log in to the site – is embedded in today’s music video. Click below to join the hunt.
