New PS4 Games to be Announced on November 14th

PS4

Previously unannounced PS4 games are set to be unveiled at an event later this month, Geoff Keighley confirms in a twitter reply to one of his followers.

The Spike TV Host was asked whether any of these “announcements” entailed new, previously unannounced, Playstation 4 games, to which he replied “definitely”.

The PS4 All Access event is aired live from New York City on the eve of the console’s release at 11pm (EST), and is set to announce the new games, among other information and announcements, during the event.

I was planning on getting the PS4, but i HAVE to buy myself a Wii-U! So many game i want to play on it now, and even more coming soon. I will buy a PS4 later on when it has more games, and is cheaper. My PC will be used for all the multiplats.

PS4 is going to have such an amazing launch. This is going to be the successful launch that all future console releases will be compared to. They are just riding off such a strong wave of momentum at this moment with fantastic pre-order numbers. But while the launch itself, and holiday sales, are going to be fantastic for Sony…I am actually more interested in seeing how the console performs come January and February. I mean, once all the hardcore fans that typically buy during launch have purchased theirs, how much carry over appeal will they have? Are we going to see a PS2 situation where PS4 just completely dominates or are things going to slow down for Sony and even a bit between the three sales wise? That’s where my interest lies.

Could not tell if you were being sarcastic or not O.o

I wasn’t being sarcastic at all. PS4 is going to have a great launch and PS5 will be compared to this launch when it happens.

        • Jean

Uhh i guess…Considering the fact that most people wont convert to the next gen consoles since the current gen will still be supported but whatever you say.

I’m not sure you fully understood what I said at all, since I covered that as well.

            • Jean

Sorry, i guess i didn’t. Probably because i felt you lost credibility the moment you said “PS4 is going to have such an amazing launch” so i kinda tuned out everything after.

Please then, friend, tell me how I’m inaccurate. By all news and accounts, the PS4 is on track to have an amazing launch. They have fantastic positive hype surrounding the console. They already have over 1 million in pre-orders. And they are most likely going to sell out of the stores completely shortly after launch. I’m guessing that they’ll easily sell in the neighborhood of 3 million units through the holiday season (assuming they can manufacture that many consoles, of course). I’m not a Sony fanboy. I have never owned any Playstation. But there is no denying that the PS4 is going to have a fantastic launch. I actually wish I had pre-ordered a PS4 months ago just so I could sell it for double or triple the price when the shortage most likely happens.

Now, if you can show me anything that contradicts anything I’ve described above, I’d gladly read and possibly change my opinion based on the new information. But I think it’s foolish to think that Sony isn’t about to have its best console launch to date and equally foolish to think that future launches will not be compared to this launch.

So tell me why The company slashed its earning forecasts by 40% citing a lower projected demand in the gaming division. This has resulted in a 11% drop in the firm’s stock. And another thing, why is Sony planning to combine the sales figures for the PS4, PS3 and PS2 altogether for the next financial quarter? Are they planning to hide the abysmal sales the PS4 is going to have just like they did with the PSVita by combining its sales with the PSP?

Friend, I do not follow the business side of gaming so I cannot answer the questions you posed. I honestly don’t even know enough to to answer what you are even talking about (I understand what you are saying, I just don’t know anything about it). So I cannot have that type of conversation with you. But when the PS4 launches next week and you see the 1 million plus figures on day one and the other million or two million sales figures in the following month, you’ll see that the PS4 was a very successful launch. If you think the PS4 sales are going to be abysmal, you better get ready for a “damn, I was talking out my ass” moment of self-realization.
